(Aw, thanks for the compliment stuffed XD) OOC: Tony, say something occurs once more that ends up with you grounded. Seeing you in the previous battle, you didn't seem all that confident on the ground and even appalled by Ace attacking another man. Do you feel a distancing effect when you shoot a man out of the sky as opposed to seeing his face before they die? How would you handle that, especially in confined spaces within the prison?

OOC: Tony, a lot of this mission requires the experienced hand of a pilot, would you say that you're mentally ready for this? In other instances, your responsibility for your craft was your own, but with the add on of a on-board team, this tells of more risk and greater loss should you fail. How would you say this effects your approach?

Well, y— yeah. I’m pretty confident in my flying. I know I lost my plane, but that really wasn’t my fault… I mean, I guess it was, I don’t know. Anyway, this time I’ll have Chip and he’ll make sure nothing goes wrong. Not that I’m planning on anything going wrong! I’m going to be careful, obviously, but… I’ve logged so many hours by now, I’m not really worried about the flying part.

2. Has the war changed for you since the battle at Ecruteak? What are your feelings about it right now?
They tell us it hasn’t changed. The enemy is still Johto, our goals are still the same — they say the same thing every time anyone talks to us. I guess they know about the mind messages. Mm. *pinches the bridge of his nose as he thinks about it* I guess it’s a lot less straightforward now. Not that it was ever really clear, but… now there’s even more stuff to think about. And doubt. They can say nothing’s changed but — I mean, even you know it, because you’re asking the question. Something changed in Ecruteak. All that changed for me is that… I don’t know, I guess that more people are gone. But that’s going to happen no matter what. People die, or get hurt and sent home, or captured — the things that happened in Ecruteak, with the rogues… Some people just chose to leave that way, I guess.
3. If there was anywhere you could be at the moment, where would it be? Where would you go to get away from the war? What would you do there? Would you bring anyone with you?
*gives a small laugh* In a field, next to a big rock that looks like it fell out of the sky. How do boulders turn up in the middle of fields, anyway? Or, better yet — Somewhere actually comfortable. Or fun. Or anywhere, really. But — oh, but, not by myself, obviously. There’d be someone there with me. That’s the whole point.
6. How has your relationship to your monsters changed since Ecruteak? What is your relationship like with your newest team mate (if you have one)? What is the group dynamic like between all of you?
Since Ecruteak, Ace has been kind of… off on her own more. I thought at first that she was mad at me or something, but I think she’s just… disappointed at how Ecruteak went. And it was my fault, so. I guess I understand. It’s weird, her not being on my shoulder all the time. At least she’s behaving, wherever she is. There haven’t been any blackouts.
But me and Chip, we’ve been getting along really well, I think. He’s been out of his ball since Ecruteak, and mostly he just stays on my bed. He’s good company, haha.
My newest teammate is Flash. We’re… I’m starting to understand how he operates, I guess. He still kind of makes me uneasy though. I’m not sure how he’ll fit in with Ace and Chip, but the two of them have a pretty good dynamic going. Ace is offense, Chip is defense. I — To be honest I’m still not sure what I am. I try to help them out, I guess. ‘Course, I’m the one who makes them go into danger so… well, shit. I really don’t know.
5. Who is on your mind at the moment, is it a friend or one of your monsters? What thoughts are going through your head about them?
*sighs, feeling a little frustrated* Karl, and Kathleen, and Sergei, and all the other POWs. I’m just hoping that they’re… you know, alright. That we won’t be too late.

((His secret is that he wanted to use Fred as the answer to the previous question. That makes him feel bad because he thinks he really SHOULD be thinking about the POWs first, but even if there weren’t imprisoned comrades to worry about, he wouldn’t have answered with Fred. So now he just feels bad all around.))
1. How are you feeling right now as you prepare to free your brothers in arms, or go off on other adventures?
I’m — feeling alright, actually. I’m not excited to go deep into enemy territory or whatever, and I know this is probably going to be… just awful. But I think… this just seems like the best thing to be doing. So I’m trying to shape up and be ready for this.
8. A common question, but where do you see yourself after the war now, after everything that has happened, what do you think you can see yourself doing?
After the war… we — I want to move to Gol — to the city. Not Celadon, but, um. That’s what… I mean, that was what I planned on. Just try and make a life there. *shrugs, looking down at his feet somewhat guiltily*
